Academic employment
I am an assistant professor of moral and political philosophy at the University of Warwick, an associate member of Nuffield College at the University of Oxford, and a research affiliate at the Machine Intelligence and Normative Theory Lab at Australian National University.

Previously I was a a British Academy postdoctoral fellow at London School of Economics, and a postdoctoral fellow at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, Stanford University. I was also affiliated with Apple.

My work focuses on the political philosophy of artificial intelligence and the digital public sphere.

I am also interested in foundational questions about the relationship between liberalism and democracy, the role of knowledge and expertise in politics, and the methodology of moral and political philosophy.
